Virtual LEGO Club
Sadly, we won’t be able to have LEGO Club inside the library, but we still want to see your LEGO creations!
Every Monday a new challenge will be posted here and on our Facebook group (Children’s Corner). After you have completed the challenge, post your creation on our group page. If you don’t have Facebook, email your picture to email@example.com. Every picture submitted will put your name in a drawing for a new LEGO kit!
Week 7 Challenge:
Who’s ready to make their own LEGO zoo? Try to make different LEGO animals from scratch. Check out this great website that has 15 different LEGO animals with how-to pictures. You can also create your own animals! Be sure to either post your creations on our Facebook group page or email it to firstname.lastname@example.org
Week 8 Challenge:
Are you ready for a brain teaser? Someone will need to make a 10×10 square with a piece of paper. You will then need to make a puzzle with different shapes and squares of LEGOS to fix into this square. Once you have the puzzle ready, mix up all the pieces for your kiddo to complete! How long does it take them? Can they do it faster than you?! This website has a few different challenges already done for you to make with your LEGOS. Check it out!
Weekly Make & Take Crafts
As many of you know, Ms. Justine loves crafts! Because we are not able to do crafts after storytime together, every week a make & take craft will be available. This means we supply everything needed for the craft, and you take it home to complete it. Be sure to include how many children you need crafts for when you are reserving!
If the library is open: pick up your craft in the Children’s Room.
If the library is closed: reserve your craft to be picked up at a designated curbside pickup.
